Agios Tychonas (Greek name Άγιος Τύχωνας) is an independent municipality (already a small town) located in the Limassol region and functioning as the eastern suburbs of Limassol. Agios Tychonas is located between the municipalities of Moutayaka - on the west side of the coast and Pareklisia - on the east, which are also part of the Limassol region and are eastern suburbs of the same city of Limassol. Agios Tychonas is the most popular and picturesque beach holiday destination in Limassol, which has already turned into a famous resort area of Limassol. The municipality has a developed tourist infrastructure, there is an abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants, there are nightclubs and shops, as well as a wide selection of accommodation, ranging from apartments (separate full apartments), to chic hotels located near the beach strip and having a green area with direct access to the beach. Agios Tychonas has the longest coastline in the Limassol area. The coastline, consisting of beaches, is 4.5 km long.
